I ran across this today and found it interesting. A company called SmartCredit.com with their new Smart Credit Report, is claiming that you can fix your credit report with the “push of a button”. It sounds enticing, doesn’t it? So simple, just push the little orange button and voila, your credit is fixed!
And what’s wild is, it just may work. With today’s advances in technology, a person can go on and check their credit report right online, see their scores and do something about errors. From what I’ve read, SmartCredit.com with their new Smart Credit Report takes it one step further. They have it set up so that if you see an error, you can “push a button” to notify that creditor of the error – ALL ON-LINE!
I think that sounds pretty revolutionary and by the response I’m seeing, so do other people. And to boot, they offer a risk free trial with unlimited access, so you can get in there and fix credit report, see all of your scores and get ID Theft Protection with no obligation to keep the credit monitoring service unless you want to.
And, according to IdentityTheft.org, “Identity-Theft is the fastest growing crime in America; 9.9 MILLION victims were reported last year, according to a Federal Trade Commission survey!” So it’s not a bad idea to keep the ID Theft protection they offer so that you know your personal information is safe!
